However, the translations themselves are a mixed bag. Some are good, others fair, and still others poor. That is to be expected when differing versions are brought together in one volume. Therefore, n|About the Author|John R. Kohlenberger, III is the noted editor of a wide range of biblical concordances and other reference works, including four titles published by Oxford University Press.

With the exception of the classic King James Version, all of the popular translations featured in the Contemporary Parallel New Testament were published within the last quarter-century. This edition is the first to include both the New International Version and the New King James Version texts in parallel, making it especially noteworthy.
